We're back!!!

Whoa guys. We've been back for a month and this is my first blog post. I'm a normal blogger again and not a crazy whirl-wind one. I have a few more pictures from Hong Kong, and then from our time back.
Our last few days in Hong Kong we went to the temple with my sister, Sunnee, and her husband, David. It is a beautiful temple, and it was crazy how they maximized every inch of their space, just like everyone in Hong Kong and China has to. That same night we had a special treat- Burger King! Have I told you how much better a Whopper Jr. tastes when it's really hard to find? And I don't even eat fast food burgers! Anyways, after that we also hit up the Night Market near the temple. It was a fun experience to be able to wander and bargain, and they didn't latch onto you like the salesmen in Bangkok. We mostly bought toys for our nieces and nephews, but I also got a great pair of unicorn earrings. You heard me. Unicorns. No one makes those in America except maybe Hot Topic, and that's kind of sketch to go inside. The next day we left and we were so sad to leave the Bishops. Although we were kind of excited to come back to the beach, which I dearly missed, and a bed that Scott can actually lay stretched out in, which he missed.

Here is a bouquet of flowers that Hazel got for me when we got back from Thailand, because she missed me. Awwwwwww. So cute right? (Sometimes I have to convince myself to keep taking birth control- just kidding!)
Here is the gorgeous Hong Kong temple!
Ignore the awkward lighting on the left side, it's a street light.
The Night Market. Scottie is the hot guy in the middle.
The day after we got back and moved back into our apartment Scotties started school and I started doing....nothing. I will start working for Medicity again on October 22, and it has taken them FOREVER to get my paperwork through the system. You'd think it's just like a month long vacation, which is true. But also, I am feeling the strains of our bank account so I am ready and rearing to start resetting those passwords again! While I have been waiting though I had to make the most of my time. So of course there has been lots of sun bathing, sleeping, reading novels, watching My Fair Wedding and crying every episode, oh yeah, and studying for the GRE. I took a GRE prep-course at BYU while we were in Utah this summer, and I highly recommend it if you are thinking about taking the GRE. However, I was too busy to study at the time (lazy) and didn't do the homework for the class like I should have, so I have been studying ever since we left Utah. Anyways, I finally took it last Friday, and I am so excited to have that weight off my shoulders! I could scream, I could shout! I already cried many times! I knew I couldn't stand to take the test again, it would just kill me to have put all that work in and get nothing. So far I have only received 2/3 of my scores but it's looking good enough that I won't have to take it again! I got a 167 on the Verbal (English) section, and a 153 on the Quantitative Math section. In the next week or so I should receive the score for my essays. Yay yay yay!
Enough about me. Scott has been super busy! He leaves the house by about 6:30 am every morning and rarely gets back before 5 pm. He is taking 17 units this semester, and he graduates in April with a Bachelors in Finance. He is also working towards passing the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), which he will take in June, so we will be in Hawaii until June. Yay! Summer at the beach! I love it! He's also working on becoming Bloomburg certified. Now I'm not as knowledgeable about these things as Scott is but everyone has assured me that they are big time, and that great business entrepreneurs and financiers have these things. Scott is also in the Finance Club, and SIFE (now changed their name to ENACTUS which I hate so I refuse to use). He is a busy busy bee and sometimes I get lonely, which is another reason I am excited for work, but I am so proud of him!
Finally I have some pictures to illustrate how jealous you should be of us and our lovely life full of love. ;)
This is our friend Sam with her delicious shave ice from Matsumoto's in Haliewa.
Here is the group we went on a hike with this weekend. Scottie, Glen, Mac, Sam, Odeile and myself.
Here is a hill of tree roots, which seemed hard on the way down but on the way UP, we realized why it is called 'cardiac hill'.
There were several times we had to hold onto a rope to climb or down the steep hills.
These are the pools we hiked too, with a waterfall further up, and a rope swing over this pool
Ignore my stomach sweat here guys. This is cute!
My husband is the most beautiful man ever. He's sitting there getting the rope ready.
Here is Glen, the only one who was braze enough to jump in.
He jumped three times!
Where are even the electrical lines gorgeous? We're in Hawaii!
On the way home we decided we had burned too many calories, so we stopped at me and Samantha Kavanagh's (Sam) favorite place- Leonard's Malasadas!
We tried to take a picture 'jumping for joy' about 10 times but our Malasadas were getting cold we didn't get one. I love this girl and those things are the most delicious things I have ever put in my mouth!
Here is tiny pineapple growing in our front garden. I never want to leave. Never never never.
These are my favorite flowers- plumerias, also in our front garden. Life is beautiful folks.
Our trees. Also obsessed with these. All three.
The coral wall in our back yard.
The patio set up.
Steps to the ocean behind our house.
This is just a smidgen of the insane amount of crabs on the rocks behind our neighbor's house.
Backyard beach y'all.
Gorg.
It's okay for me to be cheesy on my own blog, right?
Anyways- fast blog update, but I will update again soon (or I will force Scottie to).
What else do you guys want to hear about? Are we doing a good job here? Too many pictures, too many words?
Good job Kels!
